Overview
These skateboard designs were created as concept art for a possible NFL and NBA deal. The idea was to take advantage of a sector where products for these major league sports does not currently exist. The goal was to create multiple concept designs that could provide a base for additional skateboards and teams down the line. I was assigned to create designs for the selection of teams shown below, giving multiple designs and variations for each team. The above designs were chosen for potential printing onto boards, showcasing the whole vinyl print along with what it would look like once cut to fit on the skateboard.
Design Concepts
Concept 1: Logo Graffiti - A backdrop of the team logo radiating outward, with the name of the team eclipsing the backdrop. The graffiti was given a slight stroke to better separate it from the logo behind
Concept 2: Logo Pattern - A certain element from from the team logo was chosen to be repeated behind the logo to create a tilled backdrop behind each team logo.
Concept 3: Tiger Logo - A continuation of a previously used design, modified to fit on the skateboard template with custom background and design placement
